Visions and Values
Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy, kind members of the community.
Aim: To be at the forefront of education giving our pupils a spectacular education
Work hard. Be kind
Our Vision Statement
At Mead Vale School, our pupils are enabled to become full, responsible and positive participants in the community, having courage to face challenges, curiosity and knowledge about the world and kindness towards others. We do this by:
- igniting a desire to learn through an exciting, challenging and creative curriculum;
- responding to the needs of each child and developing their confidence to acquire and use new skills;
- providing a safe and caring learning environment, through respecting the opinions, beliefs and values of others;
- creating a strong partnership of staff, parents, governors and the wider school community to motivate each child to strive and achieve.
Our life in school and all the decisions we make, are guided by three core values:
To support our children to take pride in all they do and have the courage and resilience to face uncertainty, challenge and the unknown.
To encourage learners to be explorers moving beyond their experiences and knowledge.
Growing in strength through coming together and communicating as a community.
