26th January 2018
Dear Parents/Carers,
Parents Evenings are now live on ParentMail; if you have not been able to book please contact the school office. We always aim to accommodate all parents and if the dates are not convenient please see the class teacher to arrange a time to meet before or after school.
We would like to wish all children and staff who are off on the ski trip next week a great time! We hope you learn and develop your skiing skills and look forward to hearing all about it on your return. Parents - Mr. Watkins and Mrs Langley have all of your emergency contact details and will be taking the school phone to keep you regularly updated. Don't forget to follow the skiing twitter page for regular updates and pictures (@nsomskitrip2018).
This morning our foundation classes were visited by a palaeontologist as part of their dinosaur topic. They learnt new facts, looked at tools, played games and retold a story. Thank-you to Harry from Cadcharacters for acting as our palaeontologist - the children (and staff!!) had a great morning.
Sports News
6 of our Year 4 children took part in the second MAT P.E. event of the year on Wednesday. They went to Bournville School for a dodgeball competition. All children showed great enthusiasm and had a great time - lots of happy faces! They were excellent ambassadors for our school and we were extremely proud of them.
Parent Pay – Please may I remind you to check your child’s ParentPay accounts each weekend to ensure your accounts are up to date. Payments for dinners, after school and breakfast clubs need to be made in advance. Thank you
